7% saving with high frequency data

In a recent Tradewinds article, Wallenius Wilhelmsen told about how they have achieved a proven fuel saving of 7% from using high frequency operational vessel data. The article emphasized how the savings achievement rests on the foundation of our RaaEDGE vessel IOT platform, allowing Wallenius Wilhelmsen to use high quality, reliable data for sophisticated AI-driven voyage optimisation.

Raa Labs has worked together with Wallenius Wilhelmsen since 2019, rolling out our RaaEDGE infrastructure across their fleet. This has created a world-leading digital capability onboard the vessels, a foundation that Wallenius Wilhelmsen is now benefiting from with the recent joint project with Deepsea.ai as a tangible example of what the RaaEDGE foundation enables.

“Before the Raa Labs digital infrastructure project, the problem was the lack of an integrated system to manage uniform data, as well as the lack of software powerful enough to get the maximum benefit out of it. Collection and reporting were still manual.”

- Geir Fagerheim, SVP Marine Operations, Wallenius Wilhelmsen

Vessel data is the foundation, driving actions

At Raa Labs, we are working with many different vessel owners and operators, across various segments, providing data to be used for a wide variety of purposes, from fuel savings and emission reductions to digitalisation of processes. Having access to reliable quality data gives the freedom to choose among all the third party application providers and specialists that can be used to realize value.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to learn how we can support you with getting access to your vessel data and guide you on the journey towards decarbonization, fuel savings and increased efficiency.
